es ist eine Weile her, seitdem ich mich das letzte Mal gemeldet habe.

Mittlerweile hat sich die Erde weitergedreht und sich die Zeiten geändert (so dramatisch, wie es klingt, ist es aber gar nicht).

Dazu gehört mehr oder weniger, dass ich damals weniger als die Hälfte der Abonnenten auf Instagram hatte, die mein Account mittlerweile heute aufweist. Das finde ich sehr aufregend und freue mich immer dermaßen über die lieben Kommentare unter meinen Instagram Posts und kann es kaum glauben, von manchen Menschen derart positives Feedback to erhalten. Dafür bin ich euch unendlich dankbar.

Vielleicht ist euch bereits aufgefallen, dass meine älteren Blogposts alle auf Englisch verfasst wurden. Das hat den Grund, dass ich mich als ich mit Instagram begann sehr auf die englische Sprache fokussiert habe, und sich erst nach einiger Zeit die deutsche Sprache in meinen Instagram Beschreibungen etablierte. Mittlerweile führe ich meinen Content zweisprachig und werde diese Tradition auch hier weiterführen.

Dazu kommt, dass ich in der Zwischenzeit sehr viele deutschsprachige Abonnenten dazu gewonnen habe. Diese kommen zum Beispiel durch Younow oder deutsche Hashtags, die ich auf Instagram benutze. 

Es wäre doch ein Jammer, wenn einige meiner Abonnenten aus dem Land sind, in dem ich lebe, und Schwierigkeiten damit haben, den Inhalt meiner Blogposts zu verstehen.
Darüber müsst ihr euch jedenfalls keine Sorgen machen.

Wie einige sich vielleicht noch erinnern können, hieß dieser Blog hier vorher "fairyinfashion" statt "lettersfromlucie". Vielleicht fragen sich jetzt Einzelne, wieso ich meinen Namen geändert habe, da er doch so gut zu meinem Instagram Namen gepasst hat.  Dies hat folgenden Grund:

Mein Blog hat den Zweck, euch so nah wie möglich an meinem Leben teilhaben zu lassen und euch auf meine Reisen über die Jahre mitzunehmen und außergewöhnliche, persönliche Erfahrungen, Tipps und Erlebnisse, die ich sammle, gesammelt habe und sammeln werde, mit euch zu teilen.

In nächster Zeit werde ich mehr reisen, meine Inspirationen vorstellen und euch einige meiner Gedankengänge näher bringen, die am Ende mehr als persönlich sind. Ich finde es immer äußerst schwer, mit Allen einen persönlichen Umgang auf Instagram zu pflegen und denke, dass ich hier dazu viel mehr die Chance erhalte.

Und da ich folglich viele Bereiche abdecken möchte und den Fokus nicht nur auf die Fashion Branche setze, ist das der Grund der Namensänderung. 

Dennoch werde ich den Inhalt darauf ausrichten, euch weiterzuhelfen und nicht nur darauf, mich mitzuteilen. Ich werde nicht einfach irgendetwas über mich erzählen oder einen Ort, den ich besuche, sondern euch dazu Tipps und Tricks anvertrauen, die euch womöglich weiterhelfen könnten.
Vor Instagram war ich sehr auf Tumblr aktiv, und viele Menschen suchten den Rat bei mir. Es hat mir unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht, Menschen weiterzuhelfen, deshalb würde ich mich freuen, auch gerne hier euer Ratgeber zu sein. 

Schreibt mir in die Kommentare, wenn ihr weitere Fragen an mich habt und vielleicht seht ihr ja demnächst einen Blogpost über dieses Thema (wenn nicht, beantworte ich es euch gerne in den Kommentaren oder privat auf Instagram).

Dear readers,

It is a while ago since the last time you have heard from me here.
The earth revolved on and times have changed (although it is not a dramatic as it sounds).
This being said, I have had less than half of the number of followers on my Instagram than I have now. This is a very exciting fact for me and I incredibly appreciate all the of the loving comments below my Instagram postings and can barely believe how much positive feedback some of you give me everyday. For that I will forever be thankful.

You may have noticed that I wrote all of my older blog posts in the English language. The reason is that back then, when I began using Instagram, I mainly focused on interacting with my followers in English and only after a while introduced the German language to my account since I grew to having more and more of a German speaking follower base aswell.
Therefore I do not hesitate to keep this tradition and continue posting multilingual content.

Some of you might remember that I used to call my blog "fairyinfashion" instead of "lettersfromlucie". Several people might wonder now why I did not keep my old blog url, since it for sure did fit to my current Instagram name. The reason for that is what follows now:
My blog has the purpose to establish the closest connection possible between you and me, helping to take you with me on my journey for the next couple of years and making it possible for me to share extraordinary, personal experience, tips and adventures with you that I collect, have collected and will collect throughout the next years of my life.
In the next time I will travel a lot more, give an insight to what inspires me and share some of my deepest thoughts with you. I always find it hard to create a personal connection with my Instagram followers while this website gives me the possibility to do exactly that.

This being said, my blog will cover a whole variety of different aspects and is not going to focus on Fashion as much as I thought it would be when I started this blog, which marks the reason for the change of the blog name.

Before I used Instagram, there was a time when I spent my days on Tumblr which definitely is a great website and counts as the first, real blog that I could call myself an owner of.
In those days quite a few people showed interest in getting advice from me, which made me incredibly happy. It made so much fun to help out other people, which is why I would love to be a help for you on here too.
Do not hesitate to write me questions or suggestions below this blog post, and maybe then you are going to see this topic as one of my blog posts soon (if not, I will of course take the time to answer your question in the comments or on Instagram Direct).

I am glad that you found your way to that little place and that in some way you are interested in the way I am or where I come from. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

I am 18 years old. I live in Frankfurt, which is located in Germany. I've created the blog on 06/27/2015 because I love to write and take pictures and I'm looking forward to taking you with me on the journey of my life. I mostly post about fashion or places I've been to, but it does happen sometimes that you will find personal thoughts written down on my blog too, so keep your eyes open! Furthermore I love to travel and experience new cultures or meet people who have a different point of view. My life revolves pretty much around food - chocolate and other sweets are my passion. I love watching movies that do not only have a great storyline, but also a meaning behind it. Those that leave you startled and have an underlining statement one can debate about. When it comes to fashion I am driven to the classy and cute kind of style. Nude colors, pleated skirts, flower tops...these are the pieces I prefer.
